Silverwood trees are a type of magical tree used in the production of conjuring ink.
Description[]
Its branches possess a sheen with a silver tone while alive, but upon withering, they turn pitch black. From the dead branches a liquid known as woodcruor is extracted, for then to be refined into ink.
History[]
According to legend, a silverwood once fell in love with a witch and offered up its blood as ink and branches as wands.
