Scaled Wolves are a type of magical beast.
Description
They look like wolves that have their dorsal side covered in stiff plaitscale fur.[1]
When mating season arrives, they shed their scales by slamming into one another in order to protect their newborn from injury.[2]
History
A pack of scaled wolves ran through the area near Qifrey's Atelier during their mating season. Agott flew near them using her Sylph Shoes and observed their habits.[3]
