Conjuring Ink (魔墨, Magic Ink) is one of the fundamental tools required for witches to draw magic.
Description[]
It is a ink made from processed woodcruor, a special substance that can be extracted from Silverwood Trees. Only seals drawn with woodcruor will activate,[1] but processing it into ink imparts additional benefits.
The ink can be mixed with different ingredients to attain special attributes, such as invisibility, prolonged duration of spells, waterproofing, and others. It can also be diluted to varying concentrations for unknown purposes. Ink is typically used with standard dip pens, referred to as "wands" by witches.
History[]
It is one of the tools allowed to be brought when a witch takes the first test of the Pentacle of Proving - the Consent of the Crown. Coco was given conjuring ink along with several other tools from Qifrey as a gift, welcoming her to his atelier.[1]
