Chapter Five of the first volume of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.
Summary[]
Coco is drawing fire magic. She also told Tetia that she fixed Agott's shoes but the only thing left is to draw the glyph at the bottom but the lines are all shaky when she draws it.
Qifrey then decided to go to the magic art supply shop with the apprentices in order to get Coco her own pen. They went to Kalhn, a town in Marshwoods.
Upon arriving, Agott decided to go ahead of them since she said that she has other shops to go to. Meanwhile, the rest went to the magical supplies shop, "The Starry Sword". They were welcomed by Mr. Nolnoa who runs the shop. While Mr. Nolnoa is touring Coco at the shop, Coco noticed a young boy who is crafting. Mr. Norna showed Coco how a branch from the silver tree turns into magic ink. After getting the magic ink extracted from the silver tree, Mr. Nolnoa gave Coco a sample to write with. While going downstairs, Coco notices the witch whom she bought the picture book with when she was young staring outside the shop's window. She then chased after the witch. Tetia, Riche, and Agott chased Coco behind.
While they were running, they were unaware that they have transported to another place. Learning that they are not in Kalhn, Tetia decided to look from the sky. After seeing what's on the sky, Tetia told them to run and encountered the giant scaled dragon.
Meanwhile, at the shop, Qifrey asked Mr. Nolnoa if he had seen his apprentices. Tartah responded to Qifrey's question and told him that he saw them chasing a witch with a mask-like a big eye.
Meanwhile, Coco, Tetia, Agott, and Riche finally encountered the Brimmed Hat Witch.
