The Brimmed Hat Group, or "Brimhats", is an organization of witches who reject the Grand Conspiracy and practice illegal magic, such as that which affects the human body, with the hopes of bringing Forbidden Magic back into general use. They are so named for their hats, whose brims obscure their faces, as opposed to the Pointed Hat Witches, whose hat-brims are pinned up.
They express an interest in having Coco become a user of forbidden magic, claiming that she is a "savior". In the past were responsible for giving her the picture book that turned her mother to stone in the first place.
Their exact structure and motivations are as of yet unknown.
